SAIC is seeking a **Hardware Engineer** with expertise in fiber optics for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness through the integration of cutting-edge commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems and network technologies using fiber-optic infrastructure.
**Job Duties:**
+ Work with a variety of engineering documents, including interface control documents, cable block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and fiber‑optic cable topology.
+ Support Stage 4 and Stage 5 test procedures for integrated C5ISR and COTS systems.
+ Ensure system accuracy and readiness through review, updates, and maintenance of engineering documentation.
