Network Engineer (Dispatch)
This dispatch role requires the Network Engineer to visit the Richmond, BC site whenever the client needs their presence and to provide first and second‑level technical support. The engineer manages the efficient assignment and dispatch of service requests, resolves end‑user issues directly or coordinates with other technicians, triages tickets, prioritizes tasks, and maintains strong communication between IT and users.
Scope of Work (Dispatch Activities)- Network device installation, replacement, and troubleshooting
- Rack & stack of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, APs)
- Cable patching, labeling, and basic cable management
- Hands & feet support for remote network teams
- Site readiness checks and basic validation
- Follow client SOPs and safety guidelines
- Own laptop with Ethernet port/adapter
