Responsibilities / Tasks
As a Field Service Engineer, you will support GEA's complex industrial equipment throughout its lifecycle, ensuring customers' production lines operate at peak efficiency. This includes performing on-site preventive and corrective maintenance on high-value GEA industrial machinery, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and automation system faults. You will also execute equipment upgrades, retrofits, and precision component replacements, and lead the on-site installation, start‑up, and commissioning of new food production equipment, conducting rigorous testing to ensure machines meet GEA performance and safety specifications before handover.
