SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a hands-on Electrical Field Service Technician with a passion for fault-finding and a willingness to work underground on cutting-edge battery-powered mining equipment in Potchefstroom. POSITION INFO:

Be part of an innovative engineering environment in Potchefstroom, supporting advanced lithium battery systems used in underground mining locomotives. This role is ideal for a technically capable, hands-on Electrical Field Service Technician who thrives in site-based, underground conditions and enjoys solving complex electrical faults while ensuring optimal equipment performance.


Education & Skills:
  • BEng / BSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in power electronics design or product support
  • Strong understanding of mediumâ to highâpower conversion systems
  • Experience with simulation tools, such as MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, or PSpice
