Job Description
A field-based Field Support Engineer role within our team, responsible for the daily supervision, maintenance, and on-site support of a deployed radio communication system at customer (military) locations across the UAE. The role requires close coordination with back-office teams and direct customer interaction, working under daily supervision of a Support Manager.
Job Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day monitoring of infrastructure components, COTS hardware, radio equipment, and associated application software across sites
- Carry out initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
- Identify complex issues and escalate back-office teams with clear technical information and logs
- Coordinate with customer and remote support teams to ensure smooth operations
- Replace faulty hardware devices and components following established procedures
- Deploy software updates and patches in a Linux-based environment
