Job Description
The Field Technician Level 1 supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical
and electrical systems in the field. This entry-level position assists senior technicians and
foremen with brazing, welding, and installing components such as piping, valves, control panels,
and instrumentation. The role provides hands-on technical exposure and training in preparation
for advancement to Field Technician Level II.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONBILITES:
• Assist in the assembly, installation, and repair of piping systems, tanks, valves, and
control equipment.
• Support brazing, TIG/MIG welding, and fabrication tasks under supervision.
• Help install and terminate basic electrical components including sensors, switches, relays,
and low-voltage wiring.
• Follow electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, and functional testing with direction from senior
