Job Description

Pay Rate: $35.50 per hour.



Field Technician/Engineer Roles:

  • Knowledge of installation and configuration on Ciena 6500 

  • Ability to run, terminate, and dress DC power & ground cabling (2awg maximum size, typically 6awg, 8awg, and 10awg at most locations)

    • Runs utilize existing ladder rack and must balance quality expectations with existing site conditions (our Field Engineer will be able to provide relevant guidance and make judgement calls as needed).

    • Insulated tools required (can be provided if otherwise great tech)



  • Ability to terminate DC power cabling in energized BDFB

    • Customer has zero downtime requirement. Insulative barriers provided to the team as PPE



  • Ability to run, terminate, and dress CAT5, T1 (16 pair), and alarm (4 pair) cable
