About the Role
- Perform general labouring/sampler duties
- Carrying out pre-start inspections on all machinery prior to use
- Ensuring that all tooling is maintained and returned to its rightful location when not in use
- Taking care of all plant and equipment provided and report all damage
- Monitoring fuel and oil levels while the drill is in operation
- Assistance with bore construction
- Assist in monitoring of drilling equipment while drill is in operation
- Assistance with setting up of ancillary equipment
- Assistance with the development of mud pits and sumps
- Drill and consumable sharpening and handling
- Operation and administering water/fuel to drill rigs via support truck
- Assist the driller and any maintenance personnel in servicing and repairs to equipment
- Assist in camp duties such as cooking, cleaning etc.
