Sheffield DocFest is seeking applications from UK‑based professionals in film programming, filmmaking, criticism, acquisitions, commissioning or development to join our team of Film Programme Advisers for Sheffield DocFest 2026.


Responsibilities



  • View and assess films submitted to Sheffield DocFest 2026.

  • Make recommendations to the Creative Director about films to be considered for the Festival programme.


Qualifications



  • UK‑based, emerging or established professionals with experience in film programming, filmmaking, criticism, acquisitions, commissioning or development.

  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently as part of an international cohort of advisers.
