Finance and Accounting Leader

Our client is an established manufacturing company in Lumby, BC (Vernon, BC area). They are looking for an accounting and finance leader to join their team as a hands on people leader in the operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payment authorization, collections, and related reconciliations

Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making

Maintain document control standards, distributing up to date documentation, as required

Manage schedules, deadlines, and workflows, implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency

Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, liaising with auditors and tax advisors as required

Prepare and maintain data entry system for customers and suppliers
