About the Role
Our client is a VIC government organisation based in Dandenong. They are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to come in and join their team on a 6 month temp contract with potential for extension.
Candidates for this role must have:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or similar, CA/CPA qualification (or in progress)
- Demonstrated experience, achievement and innovation working in a Financial Accounting Department, including a sound understanding of accounting principles, and Accounting standards
- A sound knowledge of Goods and Services Tax and Fringe Benefits Tax legislation, Australian Accounting Standards
