Financial Accountant

This is a hands-on, full-function accounting opportunity where you will be exposed to financial reporting, stock management, taxation, imports and exports, audit support, compliance and operational finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the finance function evolve while supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, analysis and financial control.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
• Reconcile and balance all balance sheet accounts to Trial Balance level.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, depreciation and asset reconciliations.
• Prepare accounting schedules and monthly journal entries, including IFRS 16 lease adjustments, prepayments and provisions.
• Review bank reconciliations, suspense accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable and open purchase orders.
