Job Description
Reporting to senior management, the Financial Controller is responsible for all of the agency’s financial activities. They ensure the sound management of financial resources, compliance with accounting practices, and the production of reliable financial information to support strategic decision-making.
In a fast-paced advertising agency environment, the person in this role also plays a key part in optimizing financial processes and managing payroll.
Financial and Accounting Management
- Oversee the full accounting cycle (bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, month‑end entries)
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (ASPE or IFRS, as applicable)
