Job Description

This is a large international group looking for a candidate with a BCom and SAICA articles with at least three years of post-article experience in a supervisory capacity. The ideal candidate will have financial reporting experience, knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, and full IFRS.

You will manage a team of 7 and be responsible for:

1. Managing the full general ledger.
2. Approving journals and payments.
3. Enforcing company controls and policies.
4. Training department staff.
5. Reviewing VAT returns and managing tax.
6. Company secretarial work.

You will report to the international holding company, compiling the financial statements and consolidating information from 4 separate entities. A friendly, approachable, calm, and collected person is ideally suited to this environment.
