SUMMARY:
Our client, a highly respected financial services group, is seeking a Chartered Accountant (SA) with a minimum of two years’ postâarticles commercial experience to join the business in a Financial Manager capacity.
POSITION INFO: Ensure all control accounts are accurately reconciled on a monthly basis
Perform monthly income statement and balance sheet reconciliations
Provide financial support and reporting to Regional Managers to enable informed decisionâmaking
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all statutory obligations (e.g. VAT, income tax), including responsibility for monthly VAT calculations
Ensure the ongoing effectiveness and integrity of financial systems and reporting tools
Establish and maintain sound financial management and control mechanisms to mitigate financial risk Oversee and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
