Role Overview
The Fire Alarm Draughtsman will be responsible for producing accurate compliant and constructible fire alarm layout and detailed drawings in Abu Dhabi. The role involves close coordination with design engineers, project managers, site teams, and installation teams to ensure all drawings comply with UAE Civil Defence (ADCD) requirements, client specifications, and site conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue AutoCAD drawings for fire alarm systems including general arrangement drawings, floor plans, riser diagrams, system schematics, and cable routing layouts.
- Develop, update and maintain as-built and installation drawings based on site surveys and installation progress.
- Interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings to coordinate fire alarm device locations, cable containment, and access requirements.
