Job Description

Duties:
  • Design and oversee wet services systems (water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewer).
  • Develop and review fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and detection systems).
  • Ensure compliance with SANS codes, municipal regulations, and relevant industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and commissioning support.
  • Manage projects from concept through to completion, including coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals and project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and draughtsmen.

Minimum Requirements:
  • BEng/BSc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (Pr Eng)
