Job Description
- Performs fire assay processes and disposal of fire assay wastes.
- Ensures that work performed is in accordance with the SGS policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, Integrated Management System and other standards to which SGS subscribes, and SGS Safety Policies.
- Operates and monitors fire assay equipment.
- Assists in preventive maintenance on fire assay equipment.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the laboratory.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in contribution to departmental goals or for personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by immediate superior.
