Carry out services, repairs, and installations on all fire detection, BMS (Building Management Systems), and metering systems installed on the complex, in compliance with the relevant code of practice.
Responsibilities
- Safe and effective servicing and repairs of fire detection systems on the complex.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance of all fire detection systems, including flow and tamper switches at valve chambers.
- Responsible for weekly service reports and printouts of detectors tested.
- Assist the air‑conditioning department with management of the BMS system when necessary.
- Assist with fault finding of the BMS network.
- Carry out minor installations as required in compliance with local codes and accepted practices.
- Attend to any breakdowns occurring after normal working hours safely and efficiently.
