Learn more about this authority at: Direct Hire Authority This Supervisory Wildland Firefighter (Fire Dispatching) (GACC Manager) position is with the US Wildland Fire Service, GW-0456-13 working in the following location: Salt Lake City, Utah Responsibilities As a Fire Dispatching GACC Manager your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Supervises the interagency function of the Coordination Center, the Center Manager supervises a variety of interagency employees. Plans work to be accomplished, adjusts priorities, assigns work, evaluate performance; gives advice and counsel to employees; hear and resolve employee complaints; conduct disciplinary measures, approve training requests, find ways to improve production and quality of work, develop performance standards; approve travel, time and attendance.
