Job Purpose
To review and monitor the asset count and tagging process and ensure necessary steps to align physical count with ERP system and all review and monitor the integrity of the Fixed Assets register (FAR) for South Africa and the Affiliates to ensure that it is IAS16 (Property Plant and Equipment Accounting standard) compliant, is valid, accurate and complete because of all asset additions, disposals, write‑offs & transfers; thereby ensuring data integrity and an accurate fixed asset register.
Baseline Qualifications
- NQF Level 7 (bachelor's degree in accounting)
- 4 years' experience in a finance function.
- Fixed Assets accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Asset count reconciliation experience
- Fluent in French

- NQF Level 8 (Honours degree in accounting)
- SAP experience (Asset modules)
