Overview
The WHO Global Service Centre (GSC) provides client‑oriented administrative services to all staff and WHO Offices worldwide. The Centre Support Office (CSO) delivers services in budget and finance, administration, human resources, business operations and staff medical services.
Description of Duties
- Act as the focal point in GSC for fixed assets management.
- Ensure fixed‑asset management complies with WHO and IPSAS standards, and that all assets are recorded, tracked, verified and disposed cost‑effectively.
- Takes timely actions on fixed‑asset transactions, including recording, barcode tagging, updating, transfer, revaluation, disposal and maintaining corresponding electronic records.
- Issues Declaration of Receipt of Goods by Staff Member (DOROG) and keeps the monitoring file updated.
