Fixed Term Locum Consultant Geriatrician

The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) seeks a Locum Consultant Geriatrician to cover a short‑term gap until January 2027. This role is part of the Department for Medicine of the Elderly (DME) and will support acute inpatient ward teams, specialist clinics, and multidisciplinary services across the Trust.
Job responsibilities
The Department is active in teaching medical students and postgraduate trainees, developing research programmes, conducting audits, and monitoring key performance indicators. In this role you will:
- Provide senior geriatric clinical care across acute inpatient wards and specialist clinics.
- Supervise and educate junior colleagues, including medical students, interns and specialty trainees.
