Job Description
Norman Goodfellows is looking for a Fleet Controller to join our team. This candidate will need to coordinate and monitor the daily operations of the company’s delivery fleet, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant distribution of liquor products to customers while maintaining high service levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet Coordination & Scheduling
- Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for drivers
- Allocate vehicles and drivers based on delivery requirements
- Adjust routes in real-time to accommodate urgent or changing orders
- Ensure optimal vehicle utilisation and route efficiency
2. Driver Management
- Brief drivers on routes, delivery notes, and expectations
- Monitor driver performance, punctuality, and behaviour
- Ensure compliance with company policies and road safety regulations
- Assist with basic driver queries and issue resolution
