Job Description
**Job Overview:**
**Fleet Mechanic III - Petaluma, CA**
**About the Role**
+ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, **perform DOT inspections** ( **3 years’ experience** ) and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy, trailers, vans and forklifts.
+ **Able to use Cummins, Navistar etc. diagnostic software**
+ Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems.
+ Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
+ Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
+ Will act as a mentor to the class I & II mechanics.
**Shift and Schedule**
+ Monday-Friday
+ 7:00am until the work is completed
+ Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
