Job Description
As a self‑employed PAT Engineer in Scarborough you will work flexible hours and use your own transport to deliver portable appliance testing services. Work ranges from one‑day projects to long‑term contracts, with pay on a pro‑rata basis based on the rate per appliance and the number of tests.
Typical Day
You will pack your van with testers, record books and other tools, travel to various sites (hospitals, retail outlets etc.) and test appliances such as microwaves, kettles and computers. After every job you record findings in a test report book or electronically, provide employers with ...
