We are hiring at Starling Physicians, a VillageMD company!The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as part of a healthcare team within a specialty department by assisting with procedures and in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high quality patient care in a professional, efficient and safe manner. Manages time efficiently in order to maintain the patient flow. The Licensed Practical Nurse will also provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse is expected to keep relevant knowledge up-to-date and apply it to everyday practice. Effectively communicates with all team members to support a cohesive work environment.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
OFFICE VISITS:
Introduces self to patient while escorting patient into the exam room.
Prepares the patient for exams and procedures.
