Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Frontend Developer skilled in Flutter for one of Canada's largest independent retailers. The successful candidate will work on the store systems team to support the modernization of the in-house POS system used across hundreds of stores. The role emphasizes hardware integrations (scanners, printers, PIN pads), offline-first UIs, and performance and stability in long-running store sessions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of a resilient, offline-capable UI for retail store environments.
- Develop front-end features using Flutter/Dart for desktop and mobile platforms.
- Integrate with hardware peripherals (scanners, printers, PIN pads) and ensure reliable operation in store settings.
