Food Production Operative

The Best Connection is working with our client who are a leading UK bakery chain. Due to increased workload they now have a requirement for Production Operatives to work at their site in Seaham. The roles are being offered on an ongoing temporary basis - with the potential of a number of months.

Duties will include:

· Packing frozen goods

· Labelling and packaging

· Working in a chilled area

The candidate:

· Ideally previous experience of working in a food production environment

· A level 2 food hygiene certificate would be an advantange however we can pay for your qualification

Hours of work:

· Shift one: Dayshift: Monday - Friday 6.15am - 14.30pm

· Shift two: Working on a rotating 3 shift pattern Monday - Friday:

· Early shift: 06.15am - 14.30pm

· Late shift: 14.15pm - 22.30pm

· Night shift: 22.15pm - 06.30am

Rates of pay:

· Hours worked between 06.00am - 18.00pm: £12.71 per hour
