Summary The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) works to keep Americans safe at home by countering international crime, illegal drugs, and instability abroad. INL helps countries deliver justice and fairness by strengthening their police, courts, and corrections systems. These efforts reduce the amount of crime and illegal drugs reaching U.S. shores. Responsibilities Advises on foreign assistance program issues and problems; develops and proposes resolutions of program policy and procedural issues and coordinates implementation of management decisions on assigned program. Contributes to program design, planning, implementation, and monitoring/evaluation for high-profile foreign assistance programs and Western Hemisphere policy priorities.
