Job Description

Summary This position is located in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration, Office of Remigration (PRM/REM) which is PRM's hub for immigration issues and repatriation tracking. This position monitors developments and trends and analyzes foreign policy relating to providing interagency coordination with Department of Homeland Security and other agencies on removals/repatriations, and for intra-agency policy work to advance the President's immigration agenda. Responsibilities Evaluates program effectiveness as evidenced by improvement or deterioration in the political, economic, or social conditions. Monitors political, economic, social, military, and other significant developments and trends in order to gauge the effectiveness of, and facilitate, efforts to achieve U.S. foreign policy objectives relating to immigration initiatives.
