Job Description

The foreman provides leadership, schedules, coordinates, supervises and ensures the productivity and safety of the work crew and the public. As a key participant in the relationship with the client, consultants and the company, the foreman acts as a management liaison and a client interface. Location: Kingston, ON
Vacancy: New PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The foreman must promote a safe work culture, is accountable for the safety of the crew as well as the general public

  • Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with the safety regulations (Health and Safety Act) and safety policies and procedures outlined in the company policy

  • Completing incident and other safety reports in a timely manner

  • Leads the crew and is accountable for how the crew completes assigned work

  • Communicating and assigning individual tasks to a member or members of his crew
