About the Role
As a cold store forklift operator at Melbourne Airport, you’ll be an essential part of the team responsible for handling international cargo and keeping operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
- Operating a forklift to unload aircraft units
- Manual handling
- Removing cargo nets and shrink-wrap from pallets
- Loading airfreight onto trucks
- Operating hoists to safely manoeuvre aircraft units
- Working in a cold store
- Working with perishables & carcus's
