Overview
This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The incumbent performs the architecture or development of VHDL and/or Verilog modules on FPGA and participates in all stages of product development: design, prototyping, validation and transfer to production.
Responsibilities
- Definition of digital architecture.
- Module programming in VHDL or Verilog.
- FPGA-based schematic validation and verification.
- Define the schematic requirements specific to the proper functioning of FPGAs.
- Participate in schematic reviews that include FPGAs.
- Might call in to oversee the PCB design (layout).
- Support for the start-up of FPGA-based electronic prototypes.
- Write and carry out prototype test programs.
- Perform and run simulations.
- Close collaboration with the Electronics and Firmware designers.
