About the Company
We are a B2B supplier specializing in functional food ingredients for the health & wellness sector . We have a freeze-drying production base in New Zealand, focusing on kiwi fruit powder and other fruit/plant extract powders . We are looking for a Process Engineer who understands both freeze-drying formulation and process optimization for fruit/plant-based ingredients. This role emphasizes R&D and process implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Freeze-Drying Formulation Development for Functional Ingredients
- Develop freeze-drying formulations for fruit/plant-based functional ingredients, focusing on:
- Selection and blending of cryoprotectants to improve stability of heat-sensitive nutrients during freeze-drying and storage
- Optimizing color, flavor, reconstitutability, flowability, and active ingredient retention of the final powder
