The primary purpose of this position is to provide organizational support including administration, information management, UEC, readiness, logistics, and traffic management, arrange transportation services for shipment of personal property or its placement in temporary storage and to effect the shipment of freight, dangerous articles, or special security-risk items. Responsibilities Makes detailed cost comparisons for shipment of household goods, unaccompanied baggage personal effects, privately owned mobile homes, general and special freight items by applying a thorough knowledge of highly technical tariff rates and rate tenders submitted by voluminous numbers of carriers.
