Professor Catedrático – Neurology
Location: Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa, Clínica Universitária de Neurologia (Av. Professor Egas Moniz, 1649‑028 Lisboa).
Overview
Open international appointment for a contract in public functions for a Professor Catedrático in Neurology. The incumbent will conduct teaching and research activities typical of the post.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑ and postgraduate teaching (clinical, theoretical, coursework).
- Lead, participate in, and manage research projects with national or international funding.
- Contribute to scientific literature and clinical practice in neuro‑medicine.
- Adhere to institutional mission, including extension and community service.
- Maintain active clinical practice where applicable.
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree for at least five years; recognition of foreign PhDs if applicable.
