Take on a vital role as a full-time firefighter in Canada, focusing on fire hazard inspections and enforcing regulations. This permanent position requires strong dedication and community involvement.
We invite applications from experienced firefighters with Level I and II certifications. The main duties include inspecting buildings and enforcing fire safety regulations to enhance community safety. Please note that remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections for structural integrity and fire safety
• Enforce regulations to prevent accidents and fire hazards
• Provide education on fire safety regulations
• Lead and participate in emergency preparedness training
• Ensure firefighter equipment is well maintained
Requirements:
• Firefighter Certification Level I and II
• 2-3 years of operational experience
• CEGEP diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in French
• Valid work permit/authorization for Canada
