Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Functional Skills English and/or Maths lessons to learners within an Alternative Provision setting.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual learning needs, abilities, and aspirations of students.
- Assess learners' starting points and create individualized learning plans with clear targets and progression routes.
- Monitor, record, and report on learner attendance, engagement, progress, and achievement.
- Prepare learners for Functional Skills examinations and support them in achieving accredited qualifications.
- Differentiates teaching strategies to support learners with SEND, SEMH needs, EHCPs, and those who may have experienced barriers to education.
