Position Summary
The Furnishings Manager will oversee purchases, receipts, issues, installations, warranty tracking, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of furnishings. Provides full lifecycle of government-owned furnishings with Air Force housing operations or military base furnishings management. This position is considered contingent upon award.
Individuals must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Manage and conduct physical inventories and distribute furnishings located in warehouses and 12 dormitories.
+ Request, receive, issue, store, and coordinate delivery and pickup of all Government-owned furnishings used in authorized facilities within established timelines.
+ Identify and report suspected abuse or loss of property for items damaged, destroyed, or lost.
