Job Description
What will you be doing!
- Performing daily routine radiation and contamination surveys of work areas.
- Establishing barriers and posting signage as required based on survey results.
- Identifying radiological hazards that may lead to the spread of contamination or affect the life and health of employees.
- Providing job oversight from a radiological aspect and providing radiological guidance and advice to workers.
- Discussing Radiation Protection issues with staff in the work area and presenting recommendations in a clear, assertive, and diplomatic manner.
- Initiating established control measures.
- Exercising judgment in radiological input and advice.
- Recognizing the importance of a strong reporting culture and understanding the reporting chain respective to the work area.
