Job Description
What will you do as a Garment Technologist
- Have an understanding of technical capability of suppliers, including factory visits and audits (including the developing of CAP’s)
- Work with offices to ensure suppliers on boarded to ensure a smooth transition into the business
- Manage issues to be taken up with suppliers, keeping buying teams and offices informed and develops supplier improvement plans
- Follow up on ethicalnon‑compliances from SMETA report, during factory visits and carry out ethical risk assessment, based on H & S issues
- Work with category team to deliver product strategy
- Ensure adherence to the required sealing process from initial prototype to production sign off (including critical path adherence and management) Drive improvements where required
- Work with design/buying teams during product development to get as many samples ‘right first time’ as possible
