A healthcare network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to join their growing staff at one of their facilities in Rockland County. About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with shared on-call
- Hours: Business Hours
- Call: One week per month, shared
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions in the field of Gastroenterology
- Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
- Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
