We are partnering with a leading private equity platform to appoint a
General Counsel
to lead its legal function across Asia. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the senior management team and working closely with investment professionals on complex, cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the principal legal advisor to the firm across all aspects of its private equity investment lifecycle Lead and manage legal execution on M&A transactions, including structuring, due diligence, negotiations, and completion Advise on fund formation, fund structuring, and ongoing fund-related matters (LP negotiations, side letters, regulatory considerations) Provide strategic counsel on portfolio management, including bolt-on acquisitions, exits, restructurings, and governance matters Oversee and manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery Support senior stakeholders on regulatory, compliance, and risk ...
