Job Description

The Department of Medicine at Niagara Health seeks highly motivated physicians to join a fully integrated, hospital‑based program. Responsibilities include acute inpatient management, urgent outpatient referrals at our GIM Rapid Assessment Clinic, and teaching, research, and partnership activities.

  • 30 General Internists with plans for expansion.
  • Supported by subspecialty services including Cardiology, Respirology, Critical Care, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Hematology, and Infectious Diseases.
  • Night call averages 3 to 4 shifts per month.
  • Rotate through acute inpatient wards, medicine consult service, ER consults, GIMRAC Clinic, overnight call, and pre‑op clinic.
