Location: York, North Yorkshire Rate: £80 per hour (weekdays) | £90 per hour (weekends & bank holidays) Service: 7 days per week, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays (flexible shifts available) Contract Type: Locum (ongoing / ad-hoc / block bookings) Start Date: Immediate / ASAP – flexible for the right candidate
About the Role
We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic Locum General Practitioners to join our busy Urgent Care Centre in York. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment providing high-quality urgent and unscheduled care to the local population.
The centre manages a wide range of minor illnesses, injuries, and urgent presentations (non-life-threatening), with access to point-of-care testing, imaging referrals, and multidisciplinary support (including nurse practitioners, paramedics, and admin teams).
