General Surgery Categorical PGY-4 Resident
The General Surgery Residency Program at Rutgers Health/Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ has an ACGME accredited categorical training position available at the PGY-4 level beginning July 1, 2026. Please see the specific requirements and instructions for applying below. Please be aware: Rutgers Health/Community Medical Center sponsors J-1 Visas only.
PREREQUISITES (no exceptions)
Successful completion in good standing of THREE (3) years in an ACGME accredited general surgery residency training program (or currently enrolled in a PGY-3 year for the academic year).
Must have graduated from an accredited medical school or
International Medical Graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates).
