Qualifications:
- We are seeking a reliable and mechanically skilled Field Environmental Technician to provide daily support for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities at our groundwater treatment facilities in Syracuse, New York. This role places strong emphasis on being a second set of hands for the plant electrician, assisting with routine electrical tasks, equipment checks, system monitoring, and safe work practices across the site.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with water treatment equipment, demonstrate strong electrical awareness, and possess the ability to perform in depth mechanical equipment repair and equipment troubleshooting on pumps, motors, plumbing systems, and treatment components. Candidates with a strong work ethic and transferable technical skills will be considered; training is available for motivated individuals.
