Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties:
+ General plant labor and clean up of production areas; observe, monitor and report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity.
+ Trained in various entry-level production positions and fills in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demands.
+ Perform kiln outage work including removal and installation of kiln refractory.
+ Report equipment problems identified to management.
+ Complete equipment pre-shift report, if applicable.
+ Clean work areas.
+ Shovel stone from around conveyors.
+ Maintain bathroom facilities.
+ Operate small front end loader.
+ Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed.
+ Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
+ Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED.
+ Willing and able to work rotating shifts, including nights & weekends, etc.
