Job Description
The General Warehouse 3 position receives and stocks raw and finished goods, pulling raw materials for production, putting away finished goods, pulling branch replenishment, and shipping product to other Lawson distribution centers. A General Warehouse 3 employee may also be responsible for Order Association, preparing customer orders and shipping finished goods to customers.Position Duties:Responsible for the movement of finished & raw materials in the distribution center, handling various items including small items, heavy items, and hazardous materials. Handles small and large items manually. Unloads inbound deliveries of materials and supplies arriving daily via various modes such as FLT, LTC, UPS & FedEx. Performs visual inspection of each item prior to receiving to verify receipt of the correct product and any potential shipping damage.
